Updates!

Was still reeling from the effects of the test. Sighs. Thought of going home, to sleep and dunk myself in water (maybe). This very bad feeling did not subside despite 6 hours of doing nothing. Was talking to Alvin before we saw Selina, and then I had noticed Shuang Hui in the library so went to look for her after the 2 of them left for their classes. To say that I was a sorry figure mopping around in library would probably be an understatement?

I guessed I cheered up somewhat seeing Shuang, and we went down to Forum to see what is there, and we noticed the GREEN van! MILO! (And from then on someone morphed into Milo-girl o.O")

In the midst of the small and pathetic crowd awaiting the Milo's truck opening we saw Weiguang and Janna, and to think that 4's not a crowd we also saw June! Mini-Rovers gathering of some sorts, without planning too! And slurping up the delicious thick Milo was great! But just remember NOT to be the first few to drink 'cos you'll get those yucky powder stuff still in the drink (right Shunag?)

And after that, we brought up 2 more cuppas for Shuang's friend Yanping, who incidentally is also another Milo fanatic. Luckily, there were 2 cups. Any lesser would be deemed a crime (of sorts).

Went for Cac+us performance today! Support support Anqi, Junhao and Wenyong in their production, and it was quite good! The acting seemed natural (or maybe it IS considering how lame Matthew can normally get). On top of that, I did not know beforehand that Matthew and Lixiang were involved in the production as well! -rawr-

Nonetheless, the show was great, despite the slip-ups at times (well it happens when you look at a person and call her (2x!) by her real names on stage instead of using the alias), and if we didn't ask, we probably won't know that there were many slip-ups! Kudos to the fast reactions of the actors on that part!

Ok while the event ended there and then for the performers and the audience, for some of us it hasn't! Weili, Mark, Huiyan and I went out outside to look at the sky, and found some steps in a form of an open-sky theater! After trying to take a couple of pics here and there, we decided to try taking the SMU jump! Countless and numerous pictures ensued as we tried to coincide with the timing of the flash! I think there were probably 3-5 good pictures out of the 20++ pictures we took!

The jumps definitely made one tired...so we sat around, and went over to the loading/unloading bay to see if there was anything we could help (or take pictures of). Instead of really helping, we just continued picture-whoring and snapping away!

Alas, time passes fast while having fun, and as we walked in the empty underground carpark, I realised how time had passed me by. 2 years in NUS already, moving on to 3. Yet, I'm still not finding a direction in this wilderness. A calling? Chem Eng is nice, but the grades dun reflect that. And that sucked.

Managed to catch a super-fast 105 home after taking the last 96! Woohoo! This is the most interesting nite I had in school! A night of fun, not caring about a thing... Time to recharge the batteries!

Post-Exam Reliever!

Ehhh...I din mean the back of my running attire last Sunday...

Went out with the Fuego peeps for a Post Exam Celebration today, after Anqi's paper (yea she's the last!) Not all turned up though, only Anqi, Kent, Mark, Weili and me.

Was in school waiting for Anqi and helping Peiyu with her laptop problem, and originally intended to wait for Wanling, but that ger ended up being at home. Awww...Rest well. lol. Saw Candice, Lianguo, Chin Khiong, Lionel, Weiguang, Andy, Shuying and Zhihui around the table. And of all of them, 2 chem engineers were already in holiday mood, yet they were back in school! Why? Hmms..

Whilst doing the re installation of PY's OSX, Shuang and Tianqi appeared, and the guys had a birthday celebration for CK! Sheesh...that LG very good ah, never tell me anything though I know they had something up...haaz.

Went swimming after my 'job's done, in an attempt to relax the aches in the muscles, and to see if there's any other 'problems' after the run. Sore foot...that's about it. Tired thighs to add. Sounds reasonable, especially after a 42km run. Hehs.

Met up with Anqi after her paper, and we waited for Kent for 5 mins (well in the end we waited for >5 mins till the 4th 96 bus, and he appeared, and we took the 5th...so did he mean to wait till the 5th 96 bus?! o_O") Reached Clementi and Weili and Mark were already there, and we made our way to The Cathay.

Along the way, there was this uncle who was quite 'enthusiastic' about moving to the rear of the bus, but the problem is, there weren't people to follow his move and squeeze to the back! We were sitting with 3 across the back, with Kent and I turning ourselves (and well our legs sticked out a lil) to talk to the rest, so the uncle just decided to happily be in between all of us with a large gap between him and the next person standing. Geez. Well, I dun mind his attitude, but if people dun wish to move backwards, it doesnt help rite?

Hmms anyway, it was not a big issue, so we managed to talk less, rest a little, and crapped more later at dinner at The Manhattan Fish Market!!!! Hahaha...

Played arcade later, just a game of Daytona and this dude had to come in to chup ji ka. Geez. Luckily he got crashed out by YOURS TRULY. Super sian cos we wanted to just have fun and not to WIN...It was supposed to be fun. But justice was served and I managed to crash him out via the use of the wall (well he tried to cut in via my left side -_-)

Then we moved on to the ground floor of PS, where there was a digital camera exhibition, and Weili was musing on which to get. Lotsa models, newer than mine! Suddenly my camera seems so old and in need of a change. Oh wells.

And The Cathay has a PINK Xmas Tree! Looks prettier at night than in the day, and it's so pinkish, it looks like a huge candy floss. o_O"







Happy Feet is a must watch! Tap dance when you're happy! Feel it inside you, and let it out! :) I love the 5 amigos. Damn cute, with a Mexican/ tang. Goes to show that:

1) There's no correct way to express your feelings. You can express via singing a Heart Song, dancing, musicals, etc etc...
2) Please save the environment. (And yes, after watching the movie we were kinda guilty on eating fishes just prior to the movie)
3) Baby Penguins are cute!!!!! (I just wanna pinch their cheeks!)

To me, Happy Feet seemed partly documentary (U know, National Geographic and the like), with environmental themes inside, whilst incorporating the great music and visuals. And when we first see Mumble's parents, it's quite obvious they are caricatures of Elvis Presley and Marilyn Monroe.



I wanna find my happy feet.... =) and I shall do everything penguinly possible. :P

MacRitchie Interchange?

A much hyped up dinner cum supper outing to Thomson's Prata Place turned out to be an agonising (but fun) 2 hr wait in a super jam along Lornie Road, towards Upper Thomson Road, near MacRitchie.

The cause? A fallen tree which had blanked out almost 2 and a half lanes of the 3 lanes present there.

Result? A jam stretching all the way to Bukit Timah Road that area. Superb aint it?

The evening started off great, Esther, Huiyan, Jinyao, Mark, Weili and I were celebrating Anqi's birthday at Vivocity, and we were deciding on the next course of action, when JY proposed Thomson's prata. Good suggestion to me, since I live nearby, and we tuang-ed awhile at Vivocity (including a banana cake cutting celebration! Not to forget also, Toys'R'Us!) before proceeding on a 93 to MacRitchie. Well, normally it would take about 30-45 minutes to get there, but today was totally different...

The bus moved fast along the majority of the route, till the PIE flyover, where traffic slowed to a mere snail's pace. Or maybe that of a sloth. Feelings of something bad happening ahead was reaffirmed by the ambulance which passed our bus.

The jam was really bad. Okay, maybe really wasn't such a great word to describe it after it. It was utterly disgusting in fact. Numerous buses sped past us on the other side towards Bukit Timah, whilst ours were stationary. And the number of buses on the opposite side started decreasing, decreasing, decreasing...till we saw none at all. My hypothesis: No buses at interchange liao. lol.

And we were talking all sorta crap, playing cards, playing finger games, wondering what had happened...2 possibilities in my opinion - 1) Car accident (which explains the presence of the ambulance) taking up 2 lanes and therefore the jam can be attributed to 3 lanes converging to one; 2) Tree fallen and block off most of the road.

There was little movement, and for long stretches of time we were forced to wait and see whether the bus would even get to inch forward...so much so that in the end we decided to just get down the bus, cross the road and see what is happening while on top of the bridge. Walked all the way to the front where we could see that there was seemingly some flashing lights and...a completely empty road ahead. Inquisitive as we were, the 7 of us proceeded ahead to check what's up.

We counted: 4 93s, 4 157s, 3 74s, 3 855s and a whole lot more buses stuck along that very stretch of road, so much so that I thought we were at a new type of interchange - the MacRitchie Road Interchange.

And when we arrived at the scene, we were greeted by a scene of greenery - a tree had fallen and blocked off 2 lanes and a little of the outer lane also. Small cars and motorcycles could pass it, but because the front of the pack were 2 buses and a trailer, it was impossible for any of the 3 to proceed further, thus the jam!

Possibly 3 angmoh volunteers, 2 EMAS recovery people, 4 photographers, a policemen and many more bystanders.

Quite a number of bystanders were around, and I could see 3 angmohs trying to help out. Possibly residents around the area. One was armed with a saw, which seemed too puny compared to the size of the tree branches and trunk. Was wondering how long it would take for him to make an impact on the branches.

On top of that, there were 2 EMAS recovery personnel and their small towing truck, which was attempting to pull the branches at strategic locations so as to break it down further, allowing vehicles to clear through the outer lane at least. But going by the rate of progress (one woman resident nearby told me that it has been 1.5 hrs since it has been like that), and the scene of a tow truck which tried to move pull the branches apart but failed time and again (probably due to not enough horsepower?) almost convinced me that it might take longer to clear the trouble. At that time, it was about 2240 already, and we had spent about 30 mins in the 93 from the PIE flyover to where we got off.

Things changed when a policeman arrived with a chainsaw (now that's something) and proceeded to make quick work of the branches. It allowed the trailers and buses to clear, which meant that the jam was slightly resolved, and also helped in the ease of removal of the rest of the tree. By then, we had gone our separate ways - Esther and I towards AMK, the rest towards the Bukit Timah site. Buses were few and afar, but on the road towards AMK, all the buses which cleared the bottleneck were speeding like crazy, and the same could be said of the other vehicles as well.

Wow, the meters of the taxi uncles must be jumping like mad.

Took us about 20 minutes to walk to the MacRitchie bus stop, and I managed to hop on one of the 157s which came from Upp Thomson Road (possibly to beat the jam?)

A very interesting and lively encounter! Too bad, no cameras...pictures I'll try to get them...haha. Maybe it'll be reported in the news tomorrow la :)

Matriculated!

Was at KBox yesterday night with our Fuego councillors, and it was an overnight sing-a-long session! Really sang till almost no voice. Moreover, some of our seniors seemed to be high man...not to forget the addition of mambo/rock english songs. Mambo Night...Indeed.

Oh yea, I'm officially matriculated and a member of NUS. Standing in the queue en route to matriculation, I met up with many old firends, like Calvin, Henry, Weibin, Yisi and Enping. Was together with Weili in the queue, while Jinyao, Anqi and Mark could not get into the hall as their surnames were a latter batch. Met up with Kent, who was in the queue earlier.

I had convinced them to say that they couldn't make it in the afternoon, so had to do a slightly earlier matriculation, but alas, Jinyao told them the truth

So there was no choice but to continue the entire long process with Weili, whilst the rest waited for their turn outside.

And the Matriculation Fair was so big! Lotsa booths cramped into a tiny space too. Lotsa freebies given away. Lotsa people vying for your names & contacts (to fulfill their quota? *lol*)

Met up with Tong Cai in the Fair, and he was with his Akido sub-club. And he managed to help me get into Engine O-Week! Oh yea!

And the Matriculation Pack was huge! Full of flyers and other stuff, but the most important stuff to me were 3:
(1) Matriculation Tshirt - It's BLACK...FINALLY!
(2) Matriculation File - Ahhh...a useful item there
(3) Notebooks, Post-Its and writing stuff - That's useful...TOO

On top of that, we get 2 Hair Dyes! Woah...(But I dun really use hairdyes so....it is kinda useless? Who wants it?)

After Weili, Yi Si & I managed to finish the entire Matriculation Fair, we went back to the 1st level to find the rest of our friends, who are undergoing the matriculation process. I had another look at the rest of the laptop offers, and did a mental note of the ones I had in mind...iBook, T43, S7020.

And we went through the entire Matriculation Fair...AGAIN. Haha. But Jinyao & co. were surprisingly fast in completing the entire fair, so it seems like we're the only ones taking our time going through all the stations then :)

Prior to leaving, saw Guanyu and Weichuan in the queue, as it was Weichuan's time to matriculate, as well as Seah, Angela and Chee Hau.

Went over to the YIH canteen for our lunch with our Fuego seniors, and Jonathan was kind enough to explain the CORS bidding system to us in the comfort of the TV Room. Junjie, Qingyi and Jianbang were there to help us with our queries, as most of us were still quite unfamiliar with the system of bids. With their explanations and help, it slowly became better and easier to understand already. Thanks to you guys!

Now comes the headache part...Module Bidding.

Whole night, spent on module matching, doing of my timetable, and discussing with OGmates and friends what modules to take. A pretty rough ride...as of now, still undecided on my SS mods, my GEM mods and whether to take a Minor in Business.

Apparently, getting a Minor is not an easy feat, and it's tough, or so it seemed.

Ubin Redux!

Met up with my Fuego mates at 8.30am today, instead of the arranged 8am (I was way way way late...), for the trip to Ubin for cycling! Actually supposed to meet up with Chee Hau and Kent at Changi Jetty Ferry Terminal at 9.15am, but due to us having to buy some supplies for the trip to Ubin, we could only meet them at 9.45am.

And it was only around 10.30am that we had our breakfast done and ready to cross over to the island which is still green and nice. Proceeded to rent our bikes from the shops there, and Mark was 'coerced' to go to Ubin with us as he had joined us for breakfast, so why not Ubin? Haha.

The problem was he wasn't so much of a good rider, so initially we got a bike each, but the situation wasn't good enough to warrant a "Move-Out" signal, so Junjie got a tandem bike to pair with Mark. Power rider, in fact. This is because the routes which we are going are bound to be tough for the tandem bikers, as they are mainly dirt tracks with uneven terrain, so definitely the tandem bikers would need more skill and more butt 'meat' so as to take in the bumps along the terrain.

Moreover, it rained right after we left the Basketball Court, so we had to seek immediate shelter from one of the huts. The rain lasted some time, and we ended up talking cock under the shelter and playing games to pass the time away.

After the rain had subsided a bit, we decided to carry on and proceed to the Eastern side of the island, near to Chek Jawa. And we ended up getting dirty backs due to the mud which just keeps splashing upwards. The lack of the mud-guard at that time was obvious.

And only Jinyao had the mud-guard, which meant that his back was much more cleaner than ours. Haha.

So moving on, we managed to make it to Orchid (which sells drinks) and back to the hut which we were before, so it ended up as a loop in total. We pushed further down to the Quarry, which was in the central side of the island, and the terrain there was much better for most parts of the journey.

The view was also great, passing by not 2 but many quarries and bridges, as well as passing by the OBS campsite. Also, we passed by a path lined with many rambutan trees, as well as the Ubin Thai Temple!

It was a fun and shack day, but it sure did not end at Ubin. We ended the trip at around 6pm and we made our way back to mainland trudgingly, after washing up and having a change of clothes.

Then, it was dinner at LJS @ TM, where we just sat there and continued talking, with a couple of interesting convos going on. Haha. Scandals flying in the air. I think this is a trademark of our OG. Plus the fact that some of us seem to have hearing problems in the OG (lol!)

On the way back via train, dang....I was so so so EXHAUSTED! But, it was a great, fun day ^_^ Fun like these, should last...

Blading...Redux!

This time round, went blading with the Fuego people (freshies and councillors) @ ECP! A great turn-out, with 15 people in all, all on skates! Definitely many beginners, as seen by the all-so-frequent 'four legs pointing sky' techniques shown.

And I also had a bumpy day. All the time I had a weird feeling on the reliability of my skates. Seemed woobily at high speeds. Did some falls, but luckily, no back-flips...YET.

After ECP, we had dinner over @ Chomp Chomp @ Serangoon Gardens. Taking a cab there, each paying 3 bucks was still okay I guess. Moreover, the food's the main drawing attention so.... ^_^

FUEGO!

Woot! Just back from Chem Engine FOC (Freshmen Orientation Camp), which was held over 4 days at the Southern end of Singapore...SENTOSA! It was fun fun fun! :) Sore feet after that...haha. And a deprivation of sleep to boot.

Day 1 - Warmup! Socializing! SP & Fright Night!
Reached LT6 in the morning, drove my dad's car to school (sorta like a lift, cos he requires the car after that) and realise that some of the 'roads' shown on the NUS map are not to be trusted...haha. Took my barang barang (which is considerably lighter than whatever I had for Sports Camp) and found LT6 after taking a lift. Was terribly confused with the sheer number of seniors there. And inside, I realised that the ratio of seniors to juniors is something like 1:1...which is quite amazing indeed. Met Adrain, and realised my OG group is FUEGO. Met up with Jiaquan, who called me the night before to remind me to attend the camp. I was one of the earlier guys in the LT, so I was practically surrounded by seniors, and I was a little...lonely? Haha. But the seniors were nice, and they were all from the same class!

Slowly, more of my OG mates trickled in. Met Justin, Kent, Jinyao, Mark, Zhihao, Anqi, Weili and Angela. Started off with introduction, ice-breaker games and practising of cheers. Then, came a buffet-styled lunch and continuation of the campus games. The campus games were fun, and luckily, not as suggestive as the ones we did for Sports Camp. I still cant forget the body part game, where me and Jinyao had to do a nose-nose touch...that's damn difficult sia.

After all the fun, we learnt the mass dance moves, which got it's song from BoA's Ugly Duckling. It's a great song, and the moves were a little on the cute side, but oh well, it's still something to learn :)

After that, we packed up our stuff and moved off to the buses which were awaiting to ferry us to Sentosa. After checking into the Costa Sands Resort rooms, we had dinner as well as SP Night. 4 guys whisked into a room, blindfolded and half-sleepy, and requiring us to talk to the lady (also blindfolded) for an hour or so, whilst the organisers played games for the pairs. My nick? Ben Affleck. Woot. I like Jennifer Garner anyway. Haha.

After SP Night, we had a re-org of our OG and were led to the 7-11 for some re-supply. Our OG was the first to enter the house for Fright Night, so naturally the entire gang of 'ghosts' were energetic and lively. My partner was one of my counsellors, Adeline. I doubted she's afraid, since she's a councillor, and most probably had gone through the Fright Night route before. Was telling her some of the more possible places the 'ghosts' could hide. There was make-up on, so the 'ghosts' look damn real. Mostly, I was expecting certain events to happen, so I was surprised when certain events unfolded.

The most eerie part was when the 'ghosts' were in a damn dark room, everything was closed, and they try to grab your leg when u move, and they throw pebbles on the ground. But my partner and I just stood still and I tried to locate the source of the sounds. And the eerie sounds just heightened our senses. I accidentally kicked into one of the 'ghosts', and I mumbled "Sorry" immediately. After that, we scurried to our next station, which was also as frightening, as one of the 'ghosts' was above us to scare us, dripping some paint. That was interesting and a good idea, but I knew something was moving due to the noises made.

Fright Night was fun, yes. Most of the time I was walking slowly and looking out for the 'ambush' spots, and letting my partner know. But since we were one of the first groups to finish, we had to stay up to wait for the rest of the groups to finish, and by then, it was 3am already. Playing games in the comfort of the room, as well as talking nonsense. Hunger was on our minds, and the package which the seniors gave us came in useful...Yam Yam! Haha. Played the Murderer & Detective game, as well as the Polar Bear game. But, Mark's hypnotic voice soon steered us to lala-land...

Day 2 - Beach Games, SP Night, SABO-ed!
After a short 6 hours sleep, we awaken to a bright sunny day for some dry land games. Well, I reckoned that breakfast would most likely be the same as what I had for Sports Camp - Bread and spread.

I was proved wrong.

Instead of just bread and spread, we had ham, sausages, tomato slices and cucumber pieces to go with the bread! Is that good or what? A good start to the day, indeed.

After that, we started our games at Sapphire Hall, with the Animal Farm game. We were the MooMoo (aka cow) team. Interesting sia...cos we do a MOOOOOOmoooooo sound *lol*. After that, we proceeded to the first of the dry land games, which was to make a sandwich out of bread, lettuce, chili sauce, ketchup and sausages. The passing of the ingredients were done using the face, by applying the sauces on either side of the face, and the others using the mouth. And we had to eat our creation after the entire thing in the fastest possible time. Though we won, it was a sandwich filled with sand, and the face was scorching with the chili sauce on one side.

Alas, when we were en route to our next station, a wave of torrential rain came and we had to seek shelter immediately, thus moving on to the wet weather programme - OG interaction and games, as well as the learning of the Mass Dance steps.

Luckily enough, after lunch the sky cleared and we proceeded on with some beach volleyball first, followed by the wet beach games. (Don't all beach games mean it's gonna be wet?) Caterpillar walk, Frisbee, Dumping water into a bin full of holes, 100 mins no NG, Filling up of water bombs and solving a puzzle piece. Our OG definitely ROCKED! Our statistics: W3,D1,L1. Haha.

After the beach games, it was washing-up time, and we had dinner followed by seniors talk. 3 graduates from the course came back to give some advice regarding our course and our potential futures in the various industries. SP Night followed, and it was upped a notch, with the exchanging of postcards (I seriously did not know what to write...). And the most unforgettable part of the SP night this time round was that the girl used camouflage cream (YES! SAF-issue!!!) to draw/outline our faces, guided by the councillor. I guessed my room dudes got it pretty bad, all 5 of us, as compared to others. This is what I look like...



Had to spend some time cleaning up the face, and after that was done, it was the appointment of the Pegeant couple for our OG (which also means it's SABO time, as the guys get to choose the girl, and vice versa). Alas, I kenna SABO-ed by the girls. And Angela was SABO-ed. And both of us had to learn the Mass Dance routine, 'cos we had to perform during the Finale Night the following day. It was a 1-on-1 coaching session by Jon and Kian Hong, but I guessed I slowly got the moves correct...Got used to the rhythm and beat of the song too! Angela was not bad, catching up fast with the steps and all. The rest? Well, they brushed up their dancing steps, as well as brain-storming of ideas for the skit for Finale Night also.

We talked and talked...and I think Angela and I drifted off to lala-land whilst the others were doing the finishing touches...Lotsa funny ideas flying here and there, Haha! (I still like the insurance thingy which Jinyao said =X)

Day 3 - More Games, Finale Night, Non-stop fun!
And thus we had more games...Games stations under shelter this time round. And we had to earn "cash" so as to bid for items for the dressing up of our mascot. Interestingly, we got awarded the tallest structure, answered most questions for the MRT Quiz correctly, but lost plenty of money on the Speed Eating & Drinking Game - eating of bread in 30sec and drinking of coke in 10sec. Still, we had plenty of money, and in the end we managed to get the stuff which we required: A long chain rubber bands, and a piece of cloth. We also got newspapers, and successfully got the straws (thanks to Jian Bang for his huge contribution...)

Our Mascot...? A "Dang Kee", with our best person...Jinyao as the lead character. Haha. And he certainly fitted into the role ;) Immediately after the mascot contest, we had Scavenger Hunt, and the Amazing Race along the beach. I feel stupid, 'cos I did not bring my IC along, as they needed one whose birthday is in July -_-"

The Amazing Race ended with us being one of the last groups, because of a slight technical error, and the fact that we were issued the wrong maps. Anyway, we had a fun water-bomb fight after that. Managed to hit some of the intended targets, but kenna the target of water-dunking also. Hurhurhur. I'm no match for the 4 strong senior dudes.

After the wet stuff, we went back to the chalets for shower, only to realise that the key's missing! We got the replacement key, and knew the original should have been left in the sand near the bags which we last left there.

Quickly changed into the clothes for the night, and had some discussions with Angela regarding the poses and stuff which we had to do for the Pageant, 'cos I had almost zilch ideas on how to do those. Heh. We were lucky that the rain gave us some extra time to practice the skit, familiarise Jinyao and Anqi with the dance moves (oh yea, cos the Pageant couple need not do the dance liao...haha) and for us to think of the poses.

After a dry run for the Pageant contestants was conducted, we met up with our SPs to finally know who's behind that blindfold. My SP was Huifang, ex-VJC lady. She's a friendly lady also, so that's a good sign ^_^ And our group of 5 SP couples had a total of 4 guys (Chris, Jiaxin, Gui Deng, me) and 1 lady (Jacqueline) in the Pageant, which is an interesting statistic too, haha.

The dinner was buffet-styled at the Siloso Beach Bar, under a clear night sky. Very romantic night and it was a cool evening too. Got SABO-ed for one of the stage games, which was to stuff as many marshmallows into the mouth as possible, and still be able to say a sentence. It was easy with 5, but 9 was too much already. My mouth was not big enough. I managed to win...by a whisker. Nonetheless, I shudder at the thought of marshmallows now...

The Q&A session for the Pageant was alright for me, and it passed quickly. Whew! We had more fun with the skit put up by my friends. Corny, indeed. But, alas, Acqua won the skit, and the Pageant winners were also from their OG. Kudos to them.

The night was young, and...we embarked on a night full of fun and games, especially with the camping outside 7-11 doing "qian4 bian3" riddles. After that, it was Captain's Ball with Vento, and it was fun to do that throughout the night. Did not feel lethargic in fact.

And guess what? Kent & I managed to find our missing room key, lying on the sand, untouched. Lucky, indeed.

We played till around 5 plus, then slowly walked back to our chalet as the day turned brighter. While the rest retired for a nap, I talked to Weilian and had a nice chat, as I did not wish to sleep.

Day 4 - Last day...sadness...
Whilst the rest were sleeping, I used the Internet and played the Arcade games downstairs, which kept me awake somewhat. Hunger soon struck, and the thought of it coming at 0930 hrs soothed me...till it was postponed. Heh.

Nonetheless, we finally checked out of the rooms and had our breakfast of bread with kaya in Emerald Hall. Fulfilling indeed! Then we had our last Mass Dance and cheers, and it was goodbye after that. Even got a Frisbee from the O-Comm! It's nice of them to present a group gift to us :)

Our OG proceeded to get out of Sentosa and to HarbourFront Subway, where we had our lunch. It was more of a after-camp atmosphere, relaxed and tired souls trying to finds things to talk about.
