Gosh, talk about 2 highly-charged encounters over the weekend, one at the Emirates Stadium, the other at Anfield. Same score-line for both, and the top 2 remained unchanged.
For now.
The Arsenal vs Chelsea match sure had more leg-kicking and rivalry...it almost boiled to a free-for-all at the end of the match, when Fabregas squared up to Ashley Cole after Cole tackled him from the back. Gosh. And he was carded on the whistle. Looked as though he was about to get a yellow any time in the game, from the very first minute. The game was fast and furious, and it was a rather messy affair too - the referee was kept busy throughout, as shown by the 10 yellows given out.
On the other hand, Man Utd was lucky to scrape a goal when tyco-Tevez scored after Rooney blasted the ball into the box from range. Simply tyco man. And I feel for Liverpool, because they had much more chances but simply could not hit the target, even with an out-of-sorts van der Saar and a "I'll clear to opponent" Brown. Tough luck.
