Today went out, but came home b4 11 'cos after tt transport is always a headache haha...Went out with my frens to play pool in e evening, and then watched Scary Movie 3 :p Plus a visit to the seldom-visited arcade @ Suntec...Yea, and met quite a no. of my frens there too! And Suntec was rather crowded too...lol...

Went back to OETI today...shacked out man, cos yesterday returned from range to SOL, then 'forced' to book out...so went home with all my barang barang. Anyway, range was okay..never get Marksman -.- Well, not exactly TT good a shooter, but got 5 of us got Marksman...so congrats to them all :)

Eh, everyone like zombie today haha...and WO Lim never go...today was presentation for all the regular cadets, and after tt we had to do our OJT report and presentation...I resolved the presentation issue...now for the report, which would be a tid long and wordy haha...

Lunch time was great! The auntie said we had roast turkey, and it was western! Well, 'cos tml no lunch also wad :p But it was not bad...though whether it IS turkey requires some finding out lol. Played CS after that, on form man ^^" But too bad had to cut short cos someone go and fool around with our dedicated server...but anyway, time's up...:p

Played soccer @ camp today...shacked out man...we played 9 on 9 soccer on e field, and the ground was pretty soggy 'cos it rained a bit in the afternoon...we played @ 4:40pm but it rained soon after...slight drizzle. We then went in to change intending to go home, since the rain means dat it is Cat I status...BUT...

We called the Cat station & it seemed like it's actually all clear, and the rain coincidentally stopped too! So out we went to play...and my team won 9-4 overall...Some of e goals really tyco! ^_^" My team was okay lar...defence still not bad, plus got good strikers to keep load off the defence's backs. And guess I played pretty well too, managed to keep the person I was marking outta the way, 'cept for the penalty due to handball (it wasnt intentional! -.-!)...yep...pretty well, plus the ground being slippery and soggy didnt help much, finished the close to 2 hr match with soggy socks and muddy legs and shoes, coupled with tired legs and dirty elbows...Cool man! Long time never dirty liao haha!

Anyway, no dad to fetch today...left OETI @ 1900...reached home ard 2015 or so via MRT...tired out man..zzZZzz...

Rainy Day

Yea...been raining for the past dunno how many days liaoz...so sianz. But good weather for a cool nice sleep, snugging under a blanket into the bed...it's heavenly!

Ahhz...Juz got back from range in the morning...did some zeroing plus practice shoots :) So was basically 'having fun' there...Nearly didnt have bfast...luckily the bus uncle who fetched us there (Yes...we used commercial bus sometimes) helped us buy bfast for only 2 bucks, and boy did he get a lotta stuff with juz 2 bucks! (Shows tt SAF wasting money larz...) 'Cos he could get 5 side dishes with rice aka 'Cai Fan' style...not bad...

Now ah...sleepy...juz watched Fushigi Yuugi 2 vcds...so tt makes it 6 episodes down...lotsa more to go ...zzz.zzz.zzz...

BTW, the song below is damn good! All Gundam Seed songs are superb! Get them! ^_^

LOTR:ROTK Rox!

Juz returned home from watching Lord Of The Rings: Return Of The King (LOTR:ROTK) today @ GV Bishan with Weiwen and Zhenming for the 1900 hr slot. Before tt, went for dinner @ Pastamania, then down to Ah Kun's Kaya Toast to get some quick bites for e show. Din get much drinks in, got my waterbag shld be enuf liaoz...200 mins show!!!

Overall, the cinema was not fully packed, and being e sneak preview, it was great to catch e movie before most ppl did...tt'z tml lol...but still later than those who were in e preview...like Marcus..lol.

Okie, so LOTR:ROTK is e final episode to the LOTR trilogy...And for starters, they give u 2 wars for the price of one! w00t! LOTR:ROTK tells us about Frodo's and Sam's quest into the dark land of Mordor to destroy the One Ring and put an end to Sauron's reign of evil. Leading them is Gollum/Smeagol who intends to lead them into a trap in the form of Shelob to kill both of them, and thereby getting e ring...his precious...

Of course, there's the concurrent activity happening over in the land of Gondor, where Sauron's forces, led by the witchdoctor, have destroyed and pushed Faramir's forces out of Osgiliath on the river bank, and are pushing their full forces towards Minas Tirith..the stronghold of Gondor. Denethor, being saddened by the death of Boromir, wanted Faramir to retake Osgiliath again, but it failed terribly and all but Faramir were killed.

At this time, Gandalf sent Pippin to light the beacon atop Minas Tirith, and one by one the beacon hills were lit. Aragorn, based in Rohan together with Legolas and Gimli. Upon seeing the beacon hill, which signalled that Gondor is in trouble, he rushed to King Theoden to tell him about it, and soon, word was sent out to gather all forces of Rohan which could be gathered to ride forth to the aid of Gondor...6000 strong in all.

Meanwhile, the siege of Minas Tirith had begun. Pippin and Gandalf were both there trying to stop the assault. Denethor, growing crazier by the minute, intended to burn himself and the unconscious Faramir alive in the Hall of The Kings, but was to be thwarted by Gandalf and Pippin. Gandalf tried valiantly to withhold the assault by the orcs, trolls and Nazguls.

At the camp situated near the entrance to the Haunted Mountains, Élrond presented to Aragorn the sword Andúril, which was reforged. He also told Aragorn that Arwen had stayed back, but growing weaker by the day due to the evil of Sauron. "The days are short. If thou art in haste, remember the Paths of the Dead."

Aragorn thought and decided to go into the Paths of the Dead alone, but both Gimli and Legolas decided to go along with him...and it was the eve before the battle. However, Theoden still led his army to Gondor's aid like the wind, and reached there in time. Meanwhile, Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas rode through the Haunted Mountain. The horses were all scared and they soon reached the Door, which would lead them to the City of the Dead. All the horses refused to go in, and ran away, but Aragorn was fearless and led the way, with Andúril drawn. Legolas followed, and Gimli muttered, "Here is a thing unheard of! An Elf will go underground and a Dwarf dare not!" And he followed.

Nothing stopped their passage, but steadily fear grew on Gimli, because he knew that there was now no turning back. All 3 then reached the cavern, and a sound boomed out, "Who dares enter the City of the Dead?!" And the King of the Dead appeared before the 3, with the entire Army of the Dead surrounding them soon after. Aragorn extended an offer to them to release the curse laid upon them by having them go to the aid of Gondor, and thereby releasing them to rest in peace, which they did. (After 3x "What say you?!!")

The Riders of Rohan reached the Pelennor Fields, where the fought tooth and nail, striking fear into the hearts of the orcs and thereby crushing their right flank with a huge wave of calvary charge. This pushed back the attack of Sauron's army. [Magnificent battle indeed] However, the joy was shortlived, as the huge tusked battle elephants rushed into battle, with archers perched on the back of it. The elephants whacked the hell outta King Theoden's calvary, and the formation was broken. Émoer did a great javelin throw at one of the elephant riders and caused a temporary disruption to the attacks, and Éwoyn & Merry rode in between the legs of the elephants and stabbed hard at them, causing the elephant to buckle under his own weight.

The Dark Lord (witchdoctor) -- Lord of the Nazgûl attacked King Theoden and slammed him hard on the ground, the beast he was riding on ready to feast on the flesh of the King, not before Éwoyn intervened, slashing off the beast's head with 2 strokes. The Dark Lord boomed, "No man can kill me!!" and was stabbed by Merry from the back [lame...-___-!!!] and was killed off by Éwoyn (who showed tt she was a gal...), with her last strength driving the sword into the face of the Dark Lord, thereby killing him...However, King Theoden died. -sad-

Meanwhile, the Corsairs of Umbar arrived through the river, and out leapt....3 dudes: Aragorn, Legolas and Gimli, who muttered that it looked like a great place to up their kill count...The Orcs at the port were all taken by surprise, but that quickly changed, and they were prepared to kill e 3, but not before realising that there was actually an Army of the Dead behind the 3 of them, which quickly overran the troops there and at the Pelennor Fields.

Legolas did a superb 'magic' trick...he got onto the tusk of an elephant, swung himself from the front to the back, and started shooting at the archers on top of the elephant, then getting rid of the canopy, and killing the beast with 3 arrows in the head, sliding off it with a kewl finish...[It must be noted that the archers could seemingly shoot riders 500m from them, but apparently have 0 accuracy dealing with Legolas o.0"""""] And Gimli shouted, "That's cheating! It counts as one!"

So all of Sauron's forces were overran, and Aragorn laid the Army of the Dead to rest, not before the Dwarf saying another punchline: "It's better to leave them around, they could do much more help to us" o.0''

The council of Gondor to attack Mordor to divert Sauron's attention on Frodo's quest was being discussed. Gimli quipped, "The odds of survival are low, the risks are great, let's go!" [eh....this dude has the most punchline liao larz...]

Frodo, led into Shelob's lair by the treacherous Gollum, stumbled out, but was ultimately poisoned and was stone-dead (not yet dead larz...juz...frozen?) Sam took Frodo's ring, and set out to save him when he was taken by the orcs to Cirith Ungol..which had all its defenders killed by an internal mutiny [sheesh...how lame can this go?! ROFLOL!]

Sam and Frodo then continue on to the Land of Shadow towards Mount Doom. Sauron's attention was affixed on the battle happening just outside his gate, with his army being deployed out, outnumbering those led by Aragorn @ least 15 : 1...[Hey hey! We got the magic Elf, the unbeatable Aragorn, the psychotic Dwarf and the White Wizard...can we still lose? LOL!] The Eagles came during the battle to deal with the flying Nazgûl also...

Sam and Frodo's climb up Mount Doom [READ: an active VOLCANO!! So both of them can be nominated for best mountaineers...Plus Sam can become SOF with the way he casevacted Frodo, plus without food and water for 2 plus days...?] Gollum appeared to stop them, but was futile for Frodo managed to sprint [READ: sprint hor! Up a volcano eh! U imagine :) ] up the mountain to the temple leading to the flow of lava within the mountain. [Juz dun understand....how can someone survive with THAT heat??!]

But as Frodo was about to throw the Ring into the flaming lava, something changed his heart, and he was consumed by the evil of the Ring...he slipped on the Ring to become invisible, and attempted to escape, but Gollum came along and bit his finger off to retrieve the Ring...so happy till he stepped too near the edge, and Frodo did a great tackle on him to push him down into the smolten lava, and was left hanging for his dear life (with one hand...) [How? I would wonder...No food, no water, in pain, and HOT!]

Sam rescued him and both escaped out, and the destruction of the Ring led to a lot of after effects and shockwaves, with Sauron's one-eyed tower destroyed and his army scattering in fear. Mount Doom erupted, and Sam and Frodo sought shelter (for e moment) at a cliff...and were too exhausted...till they were saved by the Eagles led by Gandalf.

So...the end was quite fairytale like....no need to say much liaoz...lol...Aragorn was crowned the King of Men, and married Arwen, with the 4 Hobbits (Frodo, Sam, Pippin, Merry) being honorary members of the City...

The 4 returned to the Shire 13 months after being summouned by Gandalf to the aid of the Men, and Sam married Rose Cotton, whilst Frodo penned the Lord of the Rings in the book started by Bilbo Baggins.

Frodo had to leave in the end, together with Bilbo, with the elves to the Havens...on the Elven ship [possibly due to him being poisoned by Shelob...cos it obviously hasnt healed...plus the fact that he WAS a ring bearer...]

Sleepy liaoz....analysis another day...

Juz returned home from field camp...2d 1n only...quite alright, a littl' cold in e morning, 'cos i slept on e floorboard of the GD290, but guess it's better than e ground outside! LOL! Less mosquitoes and ants too...4 of us shared e cabin space @ e back (Me, Tommy, Jason Leong & Kok Hiong), plus 2 more in e front (Bryan & Justin) Pretty nice sleep lar...got 4 straight hrs of sleep lorz, and still sms my fren @ 4...o.0'

Heehee...Now a littl tired onli...haha

I'm a confused guy now...Y? My mind's in a whirl, so many things to know and learn, so much stuff, yet so little time...

Guess I'm going absent-minded liaoz...been spending quite some time going in and outta my room trying to remember what to take to work...Arghh...and usually staring into outer space, away from current reality.

Sometimes, I wonder since we as PCs take care of the men welfare and listen to their troubles, who listens to ours? An avenue to release your inner emotions...someone whom you can talk to...well, friends are one thing, but ultimately we'll be split up and therefore, we won't be meeting each other so often...

A lotta things are on my mind, with my future posting, what I'm learning now, what to implement, what my future holds for me. Scholarship, overseas universities are also keeping my mind in constant revolution...Plus the animes which I've been watching...(Gundam Seed). On top of that, commissioning ball (or party?! Now i dunno...i confused liao) and my commissioning parade...

Seriously speaking, I'm really sad on one hand that e comms ball may not be as grand...but on another hand I'm ok with it 'cos I've no date (yet) and I guess this saves e trouble to ask for one...but I've not asked yet...so...

On another note...

LOTR is coming! Geez...and I realise my Wed 171203 is gonna be a half-day...damn...shld have booked for e sneaks! ARGH!!! Sheesh...now I've to get some other days...Hmmm, hopefully can do so. I hate ticket bookings -.-

And...I hereby declare the start of the Monsoon Season in Singapore! 4 days outta 4 days raining.....wad a great statistic! lol.....Cool weather definitely nice lar, but for training, dun sleep in e rain...it sucks....trust me.

Love Actually...

Great movie! Watched it after work @ Marina...Hmm shalt not go into details, but definitely a must-watch this xmas, together with LOTR: Return of the King :)

Love Actually is a British love comedy which interweaves 10 stories of love and romance. It is definitely a great movie to watch w/ ur b/f or g/f and I find it one of the best romantic comedies to be presented to us since...Notting Hill...? lol...

One of the greatest laughs was e old singer trying to come back into the top of the British charts with a renedition of 'Love is all around us'...And I thought he was gay...lol...*Maybe true...?*

Another touching scene was that of a guy telling the girl which he likes the truth just outside her house, by pretending that there was a bunch of carol singers, and his message was on those big cards which he held...definitely heartwarming and touching...

Today off work early, went to PS to meet Xuefang, whom I've not met for quite some time liaoz...she sure changed a lot. Now working @ DBS as some retention department...lol

Well, she was late (7.30pm!!!), and brought along some of her colleagues from work. Luckily, got Capt Don's book with me, so I could read...hahaz.....

Saw Grace and Songyu @ Cartel...din know they were frens ('cept on friendster list) so dunno wad's their relationship..lol.

Went to Cartel with Xuefang and her frens, they sure are enjoying themselves, feeling a little left out cos the 3 know each other well while I jus know Xuefang....so a little funny...lol

Then again, got to know she has a fetish for potatoes, and wanna be slim o.0'
