Yea...So I continue from where I left off yesterday....
So when the Mjolnir comes in thru Gate 3, it launched the EMP blast from within its battered ship, disabling all Sentinels in the Dock. However, it also knocks out all remaining APUs plus any electronic stuff that Zion had remaining.
With the 2nd wave of Sentinels arrival being imminent, Commander Lock decides to gamble by blasting all entrances to the Hive, therefore halting the invasion...for now.
Meanwhile, Trinity and the blind Neo skim on the surface of the dark Earth, where Neo 'sees' all the human beings in pods below him and in those huge buildings (like the one he was in before). They travel along these 3 gigantic cable lines to go to Machine City, in an attempt to meet Deus Ex Machina, the 'big dude' of the machines.
Of course, they meet resistance in the form of thousands and thousands of Sentinels in one huge wave, plus one line of solid-looking, gigantic machines (dunno wad it is... o.0')
Neo uses his power (which is somehow connected with the Source) to stop all the Sentinels, but there were simply too many. Since they have no ammo, Neo tells Trinity to go into the dark, gloomy and stormy clouds to escape from the Sentinels. When they do that, they come face to face with the real sun, nice clouds etc (i.e. the REAL world). They then plunge straight into Machine City, however the engine refuses to start, and they crash in one of the structures there. Trinity, unfortunately, dies as a result of getting trapped and pierced by the sharp metal Sentinel-like tentacles. Neo goes off to find the Source...on his own.
At this moment, the machines have drilled through to the Hive and Sentinels flood the entire place. Zion seems to be in danger of falling....
Neo meets Deus Ex Machina, which is a huge porupine looking floatable machine that has its face made up of thousands of Sentinels. (Cool graphics lol)
Neo strikes a deal with it --- Peace between Zion and the machines, and he will help deal with Agent Smith in the Matrix. After a while, it agrees and plugs Neo back into the Matrix.
*Note: Why did it agree? 'Cos Smith has infected almost every single program in the Matrix, including the Oracle and Seraph. By doing so, he's the most powerful One in the Matrix. And if he manages to get out of the Matrix and spread to the real world, he would be able to take over the machines (since he's a virus) and thus this not only poses a threat to the machines but the entire Earth. Since Neo is the only one who could have a chance to deal with him, the machines decide to send him in*
When Neo goes into the Matrix, everything has changed. Rain falls on the entire city and the entire street has millions of Smiths lined up on both sides, watching the huge brawl between Neo and Smith (who was getting way powerful I must say...infecting Seraph and the Oracle allowed him to have great fighting powers).
The CGI/graphics were great....I'm speechless...this must be the other great part of the movie :) Anyway, Smith manages to subdue Neo (who's almost KOed) and infects him. Neo changes to another Agent Smith...however, the machines use their trump card...the holy light to infect all the Smiths. They input this 'anti-virus' via Neo and all the Smiths disintegrate as a result. At the same time, the Matrix rebooted, and everything back to normal. However, Neo was sacrificed as a result (the white holy light very familiar...)
Meanwhile, Zion is saved as all the Sentinels leave. In the Matrix, the Architect approaches the Oracle to ask what she wants, as she had played a very dangerous game. However, he did say he would give those who resisted the Matrix a chance to leave....Hmmm...interesting!
P.S. I noticed that when Neo kissed Trinity early in the show, he didnt have those plug-in ports at his spine...was it hidden or just forgotten to add in? Hmmm....
Yep it sure did... o.0'
Neo: What happens if I fail?
The Oracle: Then Zion will fall.
Watched Matrix Revolutions today...although I liked e first 2 due to the suspense and hype created, this one left a sour taste in me, as the ending was sorta predictable (as in, the very straight-to-the-point type of ending...not tt we ppl who are fascinated by it thought abt...)
Then again, few expected a normal ending...well, I was more for the 'matrix within a matrix' sorta ending...would be cool and superb if they could pull that off!
So abt the movie...
Last we left Reloaded, Nebuchadnezzar was shot down, Neo stopped like 4 Sentinels by himself (he has in-built EMP it seems) and is left in a coma after that. Neo's body is in the real world, but he wakes up in the world between the Matrix and the Real World, which is governed by the Trainmaster. It is this world, which allows safe passage of the programs to go from one side of the Matrix to the other side --> Into the matrix from the machines 'real world' that is.
So Morpheus and Trinity decides to go back into the Matrix after receiving a call from Seraph, and meet the Oracle, who tells them to follow Seraph to find Neo. They hunt down the Trainmaster, who gives them the slip in the subways (tt'z y he's E Trainmaster). They decide to look up the Merovingian, and a cool gun battle ensues :) After striking a deal with him and getting Neo back, we come back to the real world, where Agent Smith, who had jacked himself into Bane (who's from the real world) was found unconscious on the Mjolnir (but pronounced as Hammer!?).
Searching the tunnels for signs of Niobe and her crew, they eventually stumble upon the Logos, which was downed due to an EMP launched by Bane.
Bane/Smith wakes up and kills one of the crew members and gets on the Logos, which is piloted by Trinity and Neo, who are going to Machine City above ground. On the other hand, the rest of the crew take the Mjolnir to rush back to Zion to tell them of the impending crisis: that the machines are drilling through.
Bane/Smith attacks Trinity and goes one-on-one with Neo, blinding him with electricity. However, that enables Neo to 'see' even more clearly! He's able to see him not as a person, but as an entity with fire burning in an outline reminiscient of Agent Smith in the Matrix. He kills him, saves Trinity and they get on with their journey on the Logos (definitely faster than the Mjolnir...lol) BTW, they have zilch ammo...o.0'
Mjolnir, on the other hand, is rushing to Zion, and skimming the surface of the main tunnels in an attempt to get to the maintenance tunnel to get back to Zion. However, the plan fails when the ship hits some metal, and well, the Sentinels are onto them in a jiffy. I guess close to 1K Sentinels...anyway, that's a lot...lol. Niobe is the pilot and steers the ship extremely well, well, not as good as the Logos which she piloted, due to the fact that Mjolnir is much bigger and slower than Logos. The rest of the crew man the stations while Niobe and Morpheus do the steering. The fight is incredible, and Niobe manages to ward most of the Sentinels off, keep the ship intact till Zion, and kill the remaining ones which followed with an EMP blast that knocked them and those attacking Zion (plus all friendly units too)
At Zion, the war has begun, all APUs (Armoured Personnel Units) were launched plus half the infantry. The APUs were undoubtedly the most awesome I've ever seen. Cool graphics, plus if there were such a thing built...wowz.
*The APU (Armoured Personnel Unit) is a human-piloted offensive/defensive mobile platform. It is anthropomorphic with bipedal locomotion and two independent 30mm belt-feed guns. (Source: The Matrix: Revolutions)*
Definitely cool. It is controlled by the actions of the user, and has hands to hold the guns, which were stowed at the back when not in use. It was powerful, but still not as fast as the Sentinels were concerned (com'on Sentinels fly...these guys just stay rooted at one spot and shoot 360 degrees..lol)
As the battle unfolds, more and more of the APUs start taking hits and ammo is being used up. So there were reloading personnel whose jobs were to ensure that these APUs are reloaded. In one part, all the Sentinels come together in a huge mass and attack the last standing APU (driven by Capt Mifune..i think? or is it Roland?) and despite him shooting at them in double quick time, he was scarred left, right, up, down and center by the Sentinels' claws, and died due to the severe injuries. Kid, who was at the back of that APU, decides to mount the APU when he hears of the Mjolnir returning via Gate 3, which was near to him. He pilots it and shoots the Sentinels guarding that area. A Sentinel which jumps onto the APU and attempts to kill him, but is subdued by an EMP laser blast by Zee. He then opens Gate 3 for Mjolnir to get through (with 2 mins remaining) by firing at the chains.

Matrix Revolutions opens yesterday to a limited screening....and guess I wont be revealing anything 'cos:
(1) The movie's interesting
(2) I want you to watch it
(3) I don't want to dampen your interest in it (if any)
(4) I've not watched it yet :p
Instead, I'll post a review link... :)
So instead of The Matrix...
Sheesh...-.-' Met up with this guy who's a messing warrant (or is it officer? I dun really know his 'origins') But anyway, he was damn rude and really loud. Usually when we go for lunch @ Foodfare / SFI in the cookhouse we put chips, but since we were attached personnel undergoing OJT for 3 days, the chips were apparently unavailable. On top of that, he was becoming boorish and unwilling to yield to our requests. He was willing to ensure nothing happens to his side, and sacrifice our lunch...SO MUCH FOR A GOOD SERVICE. PERIOD
Anyway, SFI / Foodfare @ Selarang Camp sucks. Real Time...And the guy at fault here is Mr K K Low (his name shld be tt way...e muscular guy...) I aint afraid of making enemies 'cos this is something which should be out in the open. How could someone talk bad about a unit in public view? And being so ungentlemanly and boorish...a PERFECT example of an uneducated person (if he ever was educated that is...) So, I wish that something could be done to address this type of ppl, who think they are all mighty and powerful, unwilling to listen to reason and look over their shoulders more than offer ppl a helping hand.
Although placing it here wont help much, I would still like to make my views felt. This is unbecoming of a person, and really puts to shame the organisation he is serving (whether SAF or Foodfare / SFI...the latter 2 I dun care AT ALL...hahaz....go die :p)
Anyway, if I DO know someone in the dept in charge of such matters, this thing wont rest...

Yep, Intolerable Cruelty sure is a great humourous comedy of romance (a tinge of it oh well :p) But nonetheless, a great movie for those who itch to relax themselves after a long exam period or a busy week!
Hmmm shld I go into it? Well, briefly I guess, so...::spoilers ahead!::
George Clooney and Catherine Zeta-Jones star in this wonderful comedy about romance, and it comes to me as sorta tit-for-tat type of movie. Hmm George Clooney is a slick Beverly Hills divorce lawyer (maritiorial....I believe?) frames the wife (Zeta-Jones) of a client to get him released from the marriage without a settlement. She vows to get her revenge by marrying the attorney, aiming to take him to the cleaners in their own savage divorce, but ends up falling in love with him in the process.
Definitely a great show, and anyone who says that lawyer shows cant be comedic outta peep in...'cos this IS a great movie! ^_^
Add to it a hilarous cast, and a stellar performance by both leading actors, this sure is a great hit, before the REAL great movies arrive, starting this week that is...The Matrix Revolutions and LOTR: Return of the King...
...3 more days to the Matrix.....
