...stressed...
In the middle of a Marketing Project, just finished printing of my CTW Project. Deadlines, deadlines, deadlines looming everywhere...
Seems like this is the period of time when your concentration and maximum output is required, when the most required factor - teamwork - is of absolute necessity. Time to prioritise, time to stop thinking of stupid stuff.
It's time to get work started, and finish where it all started.
Actually, in the midst of all the deadlines, the fact that I'm still blogging here definitely shows that I've been stressed and require and 'outlet' to destress. Since my 'outlet' is already asleep (according to time), therefore, I've to make do with this site I've here.
A simple convo with Kos turns out this way:
wad shld i blog...
how i know>
u can blog bout wad a nice person i am
how cute i am
how sweet i am
how shuai i am
how zai i am

So much for thinking of what to write. I think, I'm just gonna crap. Haha.
Well, the past week has been full of activity - Rovers Chalet, FNA Project Meeting, Runs etc. Simply keeps one busy, yet, reminds me that I need some personal time. Not forgetting sleep too.
Booked into chalet at Costa Sands East Coast on Friday night straight after school with Tianqi, and we quickly rented bikes to save us from walking long distances, and allow us to go to Lagoon to have our dinner. The chalets were very quiet, and this scene was very seldom seen. Perhaps, it's just the exam period.
After our dinner of rojak, satay, hokkien mee served with sugarcane juice, we proceeded to ride back to our chalet to meet up with Kheng Hui, who was coming over. Whilst waiting, we did our tutorial (lol!) and after getting stuck at one of the questions, we decided enough was enough.
The television is EVIL.
Proceeded to play cards after stopping the tutorials, 3-man dai-dee! (Big2 for the uninitiated) Shortly after, Heng Hong and Peiyu arrived, and Peiyu's brother also came to stay over the night, as he's going to VJC the next day.
The 'slack' mood of the entire chalet changed, and we proceeded to do what was the intended objective of the night - to make the gifts for the 25th comm.
Admist the non-stop music from my laptop and the sad TV show being shown on Friday night, we cut, wrote and pasted our way through the night. Finally, most of the work being done, TQ and I proceeded to get supper for the rest, as stomachs started growling.
The bikes are for a purpose, and that's for night-riding.
Sadly, it rained soon after we hit Marine Parade Road, but we just heck care and rode on, 'braving' the rain to get to Geylang Rd. Char Guo Tiao, Roti Prata, Carrotcake and Tou Jiang were bought, and we rushed back to deliver the food. Was very afraid of the packets I have on my handlebars, as they seemed to be on the verge of breaking most of the time. Moreover, the rain was rather heavy, and the road was slippery. The lucky thing was, there was light traffic. We proceeded to return to ECP via Fort Rd, and the long (and butt-numbing!) journey proceeded.
Reached back to our chalet safely, though my white adidas t-shirt wasn't. *sigh* Must have been the lack of a rear mudguard, which meant that the water just hit upwards onto my back, making it black and dirty. Hopefully, it can be washed.
And the food was in good shape! Haha!
Tucked into the sumptuous food after showering up, felt refreshed and more awake now. Esp. after the food, it simply gave one the urge to continue doing the rest of the presents up. So we just...continued to do and do till dawn came, people running along ECP, an old uncle training wugong with sword and fan...
KH went to have a nap, HH and PY were literally shacked out after the last of the albums were done. TQ & I went to return the bikes, and I proceeded to go home on 31, 'cos I forgot to get some stuff to the chalet. Moreover, I did not bring much clothes along, and if I intend to stay on one more night, I need my clothes.
And I needed my shaver! ARGH!
Got news that one of my friend's granny just passed away, though she's not close to her, but sadness is still there. I was at a loss of words as to what to tell her, and (1) I do not think I know her that well to console her, even if I had the same situation barely 3 months ago; (2) I wanted to go to the wake, but she said there's no need to...I guess we're just friends, huh?
Nevertheless, I proceeded home and triedto have a snooze. Before I could plonk on my bed, Lai Yee called to ask me how to get to ECP Costa Sands.
How I wished I had a street directory with me now, and pass to her to let her refer.
Tried to explain the way to get down, and hopefully, she understood. Fatigue set in, and I got a much-needed 2 hour nap.
Woke up, had lunch (mum's cooking! Finally...) and went out with Jiahui to Spotlight to get some of her construction materials for her project.
Proceeded back to chalet immediately, and noticed that VJC had an open house. Got to the chalet to see Candice, Jorin, Lai Yee, Shuang Hui, Wanling already there, with HH fast asleep, KH half-asleep, TQ in lala-land and PY looking shacked-out.
Reinforcements...have arrived.
PY proceeded to get a nap (she needed them!), KH slept despite having his laptop entertaining him (now entertain who?!), HH was in a coma-like sleep, can't be awoken at all despite the endless opening-closing of the doors. I also got some nap, with my trusty transceiver providing some music.
Woke up after awhile on hearing that they did not know how to tie the ribbon, and slept again. Maybe I was just dreaming. Hehz. Woke up a while later, refreshed.
Preparation of BBQ pit and the area soon started. And soon, the real event kicked off! The 24th and 25th Comm arrived, and helped themselves to the food, drinks (and cough-mixture) and desert. Really great time. Shall not go into details now...'cos no time...*Kos asking me to sleep, tml 8am lecture*
Anyway, did not stay over in the end, went off with Jorin and Thomas in HH's father's taxi, really nice of her to offer a lift! Going home suddenly took a shorter time than expected.
Plonking on my bed, I went into a deep slumber...the next day? FNA Project...
*to be continued*
