@ Sch...Okailer!

Too bad, can't post pics of our work here. Now @ Student's Lounge @ YIH doing up the tags and banners for our Rovers FOC! Damn cool...lotsa fun with Yings, Candice, Yi Hui, Jianlong and Pei Geok.

It's just fun being with friends, doing such things, talking...each person full of crap whilst doing work. Guess this is going to be one long night. Been here since 4pm. I think I can just snooze here.

And tomorrow just seems to be an important day...but I seriously dun mind spending today with them! They just cheer up my life!

:)

Tomorrow...meetings. -_-" I just dunno what will happen tomorrow. Will something good happen? I think so.

take care, be strong

It all appeared better for you.

Yet it seemed to take a turn for the worse.

I'll just be here.

Dun be afraid of yourself. Rouge exists only in the movies.

Smile. For yourself. That'll bring you true happiness.

Time heal all wounds? Well, maybe.

Italy Wins!

After 118 minutes of fast-flowing attacking football, Italy managed to break the deadlock with 2 goals inside 2 minutes. And that ensured that Italy did not need to meet the specialists at penalty kicks - Germany.

Justice was served, IMO.

Grosso scored the first, Del Piero simply atoned for 2 of his horrendous mistakes to put the ball into goal finally.

Time for sleep...120 minutes of non-stop, heart pumping action.

Back to 'work'

Yea. Back to the land of work. Why does SG just remind me of work only, whereas anywhere outta here seems so relaxing and slower-paced?

Woke up late to wash the tents today. Poor Lai Yee, who did not sleep the entire night (probably doing her Cluedo) was on time and there was no one there!

As for me, I was only woken up by Yings' call to my home phone. And I was groggy when my dad called me to say that a girl was on the line. *lol*

So I quickly washed up, had my breakfast and drove down to school. Dad's down with chicken pox, so I get to use the car more *beams*.

Meeting was long and draggy. Not in the mood to listen to side-talk, wanted it to just get it over and done with. On top of that, I had to meet a freshie to get the money. Time to have more freshies coming in. Helps assure yourself that the response is good. Haha.

The YIH cash deposit machine still has not been repaired. The keypad doesn't work! Only the number 4 works. OMG. This has forced me to be unable to deposit money. Running around with huge wads of notes do not help.

Nice night with a nice chat. Realised that the KL trip was a self-discovery trip and you get to observe more. Like how there are more shops catered to the female gender than to the male in KL shopping centres.

Or how people there view FBT-wearing ladies.

First timers in back-packing. And to take a room on a level with no neighbours helped. Our noisy nature (by playing bridge throughout the nite) meant that no complains could be lodged against us. And there was even an open-air bar above our inn showing the quarter-finals! I watched the England loss. Well, barely.

And the good food...the Bak Kut Teh tastes sweet there (wow, not just herbal taste, but sweet too! I like it! Yings said it was okay. lol), the muah chee with different flavours, the ultra-big bread which is full of condensed milk, and the smoothly-delicious lolo desert!

Just din manage to buy a lot of clothes. But got myself a pair of jeans and another pair of broadshorts. Hopefully, they help to bolster my wardrobe. Was looking for a certain tee-shirt but did not manage to get the colour which I wanted. Oh wells. Not fated to get it.

Looking back, I wish to stay in a kampung next hols for a month. *lol* I need a break!

Was reading up on some forums, and there's this quote, "Live like you never lived before, love like you never loved before. Because you'll never know when's your last."

Wow, interesting. But cliche? Maybe.

Now watching soccer. Italy vs Germany. Many people have put their weight behind the Germans to win this match. But I was a little pissed with the Argentina match, that I would prefer to lend my weight behind the underdogs - Italians.

Checked my calender also. Realised that AHM this year might not be possible for me. Committee trip would be in that period of time, which totally sucks. I think, I'll go for the New Balance Real Run and the Mizuno Wave Run instead, both 10km routes. Sighs~

land of good food. SMILE!

Back from KL, with Andy, Lai Yee and Yings!

And a trekking-cum-shopping trip ended up as an eating trip instead. But it turned out to be fun, fun and more fun!

From the Chilling Falls which nearly cannot even start, to the good food all around KL Central, to the nice resthouse we have and the cosy lil' room we have to play, it was really great to be with a group of friends.

The waterfalls are great. And we explored the way out ourselves. In a sense, it was an achievement. To be able to get there despite having almost no information from the Backpackers' Travellers Inn. Only managed to squeeze a little information out of the Malaysian Travel Centre (MTC) and off we went, slightly after noon, to the town of Rawang outside KL Central. From there, we took an old bus to Kuala Kota Bahru (KKB), a sleepy lil' town which has no taxis! I was absolutely stunned.

With 2 big bags and 2 small bags (interesting note 1: 3 Deuters, 1 Tatonka), we went to the police station immediately to register our information and tell them that we're going up to the Waterfalls. Walked a whole round before reaching the police station, and the front counter personnel could not speak Malay! But luckily, their superiors could, so everything was settled quickly.

Managed to get a local to drive us in for RM20 using his personal vehicle, and we ended up at the start of the trek. The view of the Selangor Dam was fantastic! Large reservoir, wonderful view. Makes me wanna get down and take some pictures. Yings was feeling slightly unwell, and the winding road complicated matters.

Reception lacking at the start point, we made arrangements with the 'Evo driver' to pick us up the next day, and we started our trek with a packet of 1/2 duck in tow. That packet attracted monkeys, so I placed it in my bag (and my bag smelt of duck thereafter o_O").

The path was clear, the water crossings were fairly okay, but could go pretty high up the knees and thighs. Waterflow was also pretty rapid and we had to find our footings before moving ahead.

Somehow, it reminded me of Berkelah and Lumbong. The land trek, reminded me of Bukit Timah. Haha. The dry trek was very easy and straight forward. We just followed the markings and more or less could get to the destination.

The most magnificent sight of the ENTIRE trip must've been the waterfalls. Simply amazing! A 40m+ waterfall cascading, and walking at the side of it, it just feels so...close. U wish to play in it, yet u realise the dangers of playing with the undercurrents which are present.

Camped lower down, and we managed to cook some decent dishes (together with duck!) before going off for our star-gazing session.

Woke up at 4am to watch stars, but the rest were so soundly asleep, I couldn't bear to wake them up. Went into the outdoors, sat there and stoned. A perfect time to ponder at stuff whilst you look up at the twinkling of stars, hoping that the shooting stars appear. Prepared the tent for rain prior to sleeping, 'cos of flashes of lightning in the distance.

Being in the dark, alone, you seem to be able to think clearer. But the problem is expressing it in words. I've never had a gift in that, and I'm trying my best to bring it across well enough, but not to be shot at. (lol)

The trip, on the whole, was cut short by the Rovers meeting later today, but I've had my share of fun. Re-energized? Yea. But I still wish I had more time to be there, slacking, stoning, having fun. Sure beats the fast paced life there.

Some pics to show...more pics to come ;)

No tripod? Never fear. Mirrors help!

Well, in the end, you wonder why the 200 SGD you have changed had been reduced to a mere MYR 10. We seem to have found no answer to that as of yet. (haha)

KL Trip!

I'm hyped up over today's KL trip! It's gonna be fun with Andy, Lai and Yings! Well, I can JUST imagine it now...

But at the back of my mind, bigger issues loom?

Hopefully they are laid to rest during the trip. Fun fun fun!

U just need to stop thinking, 'cos thinking would cause ya to hate everything? Yea?

Rovers Dry Camp: D2

Shacked?

Yea I am.

Oh wells. Today went on fine, except that I've no affinity with contact lenses and buses (again). Took 28, and it gave me a tour of Tampines. Ended up 25 minutes late. And I wasn't the only one late. Phew.

Someone was pretty hyper despite the lack of sleep. Thought you would be tired. Or maybe it's because I'm old already. Hyperness for sleep? Maybe.

But the games went on pretty much without a hitch. But off schedule. And we went to Pasir Ris Park for our beach games.

Fun, fun, fun.

Loved the part on chasing TQ and making others wet. But then again, was seriously thinking why some of them are so quiet. They're supposed to ra-ra the freshies. Should I step up a gear tml? I'd admit, I wasn't much in the ra-ra mood today...still tired. Sigh.

And meeting dates, clashes with an important day, plus my KL trip. How?!

Lotsa things on my mind. I'm losing control?

Is it true that a guy and a girl can stay purely as friends? MAYBE...but not always?

Unsure of my direction, unsure of my path.

Indeed..."erratic, lost, and unsure of where to go."
