Mini Harpsichord?

Now, for the next picture from the wonderful of Lego...we have...

*drum roll*

Tad-dah!

This Harpsichord was constructed entirely from Lego parts (over 100,000!), including keyboard, jacks, jack rack, jack rail, plectra, soundboard, bridge, hitch pins, tuning pins, wrestplank, nut, case, legs, lid, lid stick, and music stand. It has a range of 61 notes and weighs 150 lb.

I'm impressed...way too impressed. The fact that it looks so much like the real thing really makes me wonder, how did people come up with such fascinating ideas to convert simple plastic playthings (for kids in fact!) into wonderful pieces of art?

Impressive.

Too awesome...gotta post!

The New Sony Ericsson cell phone - “Black Diamond” is a concept cell phone by industrial designer Jaren Goh. With a sleek and smooth design, it fits into your hand perfectly. Equipped with the high-end 4 mega pixel camera, its a great combination for an AIO definition. The clear OLED display has the best view for tired eyes and its shiny cover can easily change to a mirror.

This is totally awesome and cool! Geez...can't wait to lay my hands on one of these! And...it's stated that "...The OLED technology makes for vivid illumination under the polycarbonate skin and gives it a borderless screen effect."

The curves sure makes this gadget stand out. Not to mention it's sleekness and technology in place. (I really can't stop WOW-ing at it)

Is it cool or what?!

Lego Creations!

It's just a wonder how people can make use of toys which kids play, to make useful objects (not to mention, life-sized!)

I'll slowly post them up one by one...so for now...here's the Lego iPod Case!

This gives the iPod Shuffle the appearance of a full-sized iPod, all made up of Lego bricks! (Apparently, it works!)

Sleepy...

It's been ever-so-official that CN1111 simply sucks. Yea...the module with 4 middle fingers.

*sigh*

I've been trying to work out 1 question, only to find it wrong after 45 minutes on it, and to tear the paper out in frustration and crush it into the trash bin.

Seriously, I think I'm stupid. Or simply not that smart enough. (Any brain boosters selling on the market? Maybe I should have a birthday wish for that. Then again, it's too far away...I might just collapse inwards instead.)

Recovering from pox, and MC's up. Time to gear up. Holidays are over *sob*

Brokeback = Gay

Yup, that's the latest "in" thing I've heard today. That brokeback mountain has brought widespread mention to the gay community everywhere.

The latest term to be added into the dictionary of gays...the word "Brokeback" has been so widely in use recently, you can see it used more widely than the word "flex" or "camp" (to know these terms please google it yourself. I'm not gay so I would not even know what they mean. Just read the newspapers lah).

For example, to indicate breakfast for gays, one gay will ask the other, "Have you had your brokefast yet?"

Or, in the recent events that unfolded, a drug raid was conducted in the Bukit Brokeback area.

With such creative and extensive use of the new terminology, it's a wonder why the movie never won acclaim for "Best Influence in the Culture of Gays".

A football club was also rumoured to be set up with the name FC Brokeback, and it's crest bears the Barcelona crest with a cowboy hat. Rumour has it that there seems to be a certain criteria to achieve prior to playing for the club.

Ever wondered why Broken Arrow was such a disaster, while Brokeback was a success? 'Cos Travolta and Slater ain't gay enough. 'Nuff said.

The last information I heard, was that there was a sizeable increase of calls for visits to Brokeback Mountain following the acclaims it the movie got in the Oscars. Now, that's something.

Open House today!

Yet, I can't go. Sighz.

'Cos my poxes ain't dried up in time, yet again.

'Cos if I went, epidemic (?) would be in store for those who have not gotten it.

Geez.

Sorry tze, can't go down. My apologies... :(

To lift my mood, here's something I just got in my mail. Just edited it to remove the stupid formatting "> >" att he sides.

The 1st Affair

A married man was having an affair with his secretary. One day they went to her place and made love all afternoon.

Exhausted, they fell asleep and woke up at 8 PM. The man hurriedly dressed and told his lover to take his shoes outside and rub them in the grass and dirt. He put on his shoes and drove home.

"Where have you been?" his wife demanded.

"I can't lie to you," he replied, "I'm having an affair with my secretary. We had sex all afternoon."

She looked down at his shoes and said: "You lying bastard! You've been playing golf!"

The 2nd Affair

A middle-aged couple had two beautiful daughters but always talked about having a son. They decided to try one last time for the son they always wanted.

The wife got pregnant and delivered a healthy baby boy. The joyful father rushed to the nursery to see his new son. He was horrified at the ugliest child he had ever seen.

He told his wife: "There's no way I can be the father of this baby. Look at the two beautiful daughters I fathered! Have you been fooling around behind my back?" The wife smiled sweetly and replied: "Not this time!"

The 3rd Affair

A mortician was working late one night.

He examined the body of Mr. Schwartz, about to be cremated, and made a startling discovery. Schwartz had the largest private part he had ever seen!

"I'm sorry Mr. Schwartz," the mortician commented, "I can't allow you to be cremated with such an impressive private part. It must be saved for posterity."

So, he removed it, stuffed it into his briefcase, and took it home.

"I have something to show you won't believe," he said to his wife, opening his briefcase.

"My God!" the wife exclaimed, "Schwartz is dead!"

The 4th Affair

A woman was in bed with her lover when she heard her husband opening the front door.

"Hurry," she said, "stand in the corner."

She rubbed baby oil all over him, then dusted him with talcum powder. "Don't move until I tell you," she said, " pretend you're a statue."

"What's this?" the husband inquired as he entered the room.

"Oh it's a statue," she replied, "the Smiths bought one and I liked it so I got one for us, too."

No more was said, not even when they went to bed. Around 2 AM the husband got up, went to the kitchen and returned with a sandwich and a beer.

"Here," he said to the statue, have this. I stood like that for two days at the Smiths and nobody offered me a damned thing."

The 5th Affair

A man walked into a cafe, went to the bar and ordered a beer.

"Certainly, Sir , that'll be one cent."

"One Cent?" the man exclaimed. He glanced at the menu and asked: "How much for a nice juicy steak and a bottle of wine?"

"A nickel," the barman replied.

"A nickel?" exclaimed the man.

"Where's the guy who owns this place?"

The bartender replied: "Upstairs, with my wife."

The man asked: "What's he doing upstairs with your wife?"

The bartender replied: "The same thing I'm doing to his business down here."

The 6th Affair

Jake was dying. His wife sat at the bedside.

He looked up and said weakly: "I have something I must confess."

"There's no need to, " his wife replied.

"No," he insisted, "I want to die in peace. I slept with your sister, your best friend, her best friend, and your mother!"

"I know," she replied, "now just rest and let the poison work."

Oscars tells me...

...that gay cowboys are cool o_O

...that biased Hollywood prefers LA-ish plots versus movies directed by LA (READ: Lee Ang) for Best Picture.

...politics STILL play a role in awards ceremony.

...they should have just rounded up all the fashion disasters and placed them in the nearest smoke chamber. Maybe under the Oscar statue would do. Just need to keep them in place.

...U can't win Best Song if you ain't funky enough (Dun tell me Dolly Parton was. I'll puke)

...pockets ain't restricted to just trousers. They can go into dresses (WHAT? o_O")

Never mind me. Just weird ramblings...

Gonna sleep. Sighz.

Just a commercial break...

Just a commercial break from the usual ranting I do in my blog. Time for some eye-candy, with the recently-concluded Oscars.

Jessica Alba looks freaking hot in the Oscars ;) Simply gorgeous dress she has there! I won't spoil her image by posting the fugly ugly dress (do you even call it one? Looks more like a trenchcoat to me) which she changed into, presumably for the post-party.

Charlize Theron, beautiful as she is, just goes for her third Oscar nomination in as many years for a role in which she uglifies herself. How pathetic. She seriously should reconsider other roles. Seriously.

Moving on...

I've deliberately censored the Stephanie Seymour picture from this clean website. Her dressing is simply too hothorrendous and would cause certain forms of eye-sore to be shown here because she's in a dress short of showing you everything? Basically it just screams of orgy.

I bet if she wore that in Singapore, protests would be breaking out everywhere, angry letters to the Straits Times followed by debate in Parliament. Or maybe something ala the Tammy case. I won't be surprised. But at least it satisfies one group of people in Singapore: the guys.

(Well, there's supposed to be 2 groups of people in Singapore, but you have to discount the gays and lesbians and place them under a seperate category. Who knows? Maybe lesbians would be obsessed aroused by her dressing and start to follow suit. Maybe one day Singapore would be the fashion talk of SEA! Oh man, I'm fantasizing.)

And how can we forget the Hill Hilton sisters:

Paris: Hey, Mrs. Meister. You look hott. Squished boobs are hott.

Nicky: Thanks, P, you bitch. You look... gold. Both your skin and your dress.

Paris: Yeah. Tanning is hott. Orange really works for you, too. Anyway, the dress I wanted, I couldn't get, because the number was in my Sidekick and all these total, like, average people were calling the designer and asking for specially made, like, overalls and stuff. Overalls are hott, though.

Nicky: Where did you get it?

Paris: It's an old dress of Mom's. Hand-me-downs are hott.

Nicky: Call it "vintage." That plays better. And get it tailored next time so it actually sort of fits and doesn't make you look matronly.

Paris: I couldn't. Those Internet, like, thief-people posted a message I wrote about Mom's seamstress. Something about, "Tell spinster crotchrag she didnt take up miniskirt enuf -- not hott,'" or something, I don't know, but that skirt is going to be hott.

Nicky: Whatever. I have to go file a police report about the guy who mugged me on my way here.

Paris: Don't. Knife-Attack Couture is hott.

Nicky: You're hott.

Paris: I know.
